Abstract

An organization’s success depends on how well it achieves its strategic goals and objectives. To monitor progress toward achieving these goals and objectives, key performance indicators (KPI) must be identified, developed and monitored periodically. The authors describe how to establish KPIs, pitfalls to avoid and ways to monitor progress.
