Abstract
The World Economic Forum’s "Future of Jobs Report 2025" identifies analytical thinking as the most sought-after core skill among employers, with 70% of organizations considering it essential for 2025. This is followed by resilience, flexibility, agility, leadership and social influence. Given that analysis is central to their work, quality professionals stand to gain a significant career advantage. Often overlooked to accompany analysis, however, is imagination in examining consequences of disruptive technological and workplace changes, a skill sometimes reserved for fiction writers.
