Live Broadcast Presentation: Fitting Crisis Response into your Quality Program
Tuesday, August 4, 10:00 a.m. CDT
Presented by Bob Mellinger, Founder and CEO, Attainium
How do organizations continue to function in the event of a major disruption? Through the creation and implementation of a continuity plan to mitigate risk and ensures consistency. However, risk management is often treated as a separate quality management project, and while they are distinct concepts, there is a need for intentional collaboration between them to optimize process improvements and product quality.
In this live presentation, you’ll learn which disruptions can affect an organization, and how to develop a response plan that fits within an enterprise-wide quality program. Attendees will understand the difference between Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, the principles of crisis management, the components of a Business Continuity Plan and how this plan can align with an existing quality management program.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify organizational risk, critical infrastructure, and key business functions
- Develop a strategic crisis response to major disruption
- Review key emergency/crisis management principles for quality professionals
- Create a plan for business resumption that aligns with quality objectives
- Establish a framework for a Business Continuity Plan for a quality organization
Live Q&A will accompany this presentation, and access to a recorded archive will be included in the purchase.
