Science Career Motivation and Influences
Abstract: This paper authored by Victoria J. Fawcett-Adams, investigates questions about the motivation and influence of people who choose a science career, and reflects the Poster being presented at the STEM conference. The study is a Literature Review, the results of two pilot studies, and scholarly feedback conducted in the three years leading up to the Proposal and Dissertation phase of the research. This paper will be presented as a poster at the Education Division's 2011 Advancing the STEM Agenda in Education, the Workplace and Society.
