Career Planning for At-Risk Students in an Online Environment

Abstract: GOAL Academy has created and implemented a career development strategy that integrates their proprietary MyGoal curriculum with the state-developed College in Colorado website, individual career and academic plan, Alternative Cooperative Education and ACT’s KeyTrain software. This multifaceted approach ensures that all students have a variety of essential skills, while offering a Colorado Career Readiness Certificate track for those students motivated to do the extra work.
