Abstract: When we look at cost-saving opportunities in higher education, we are really concerned with examining how, where and why our financial resources are being used and determining if our financial resources can be used more efficiently and effectively. We must focus on the disciplined allocation of resources. Here are 10 questions one should ask about in cost-saving opportunities. The disciplined allocation of resources is not a principle of business, but rather a principle of greatness. In today’s challenging economic times, it is also a principle of survival.
