Concurrent Sessions

This standard conference format will be used to deliver sessions ranging from those providing awareness of the general changes technologies are bringing to more targeted discussions on the implications these technologies will have on the quality professional.        
Those looking to grow awareness, understanding and perspective on both the scope and implications of the changes that disruptive technologies are bringing.  

Solution Sessions

The solution session format delivers educational sessions which also offer demonstration or descriptions of the solutions that are available for those faced with the challenges that disruptive technologies can bring to organizations.
These sessions are ideally suited for participants looking for solutions and guidance to challenges their organizations are facing as a result of the digital transformation that disruptive technologies are driving.

Workshops

These extended sessions allow for more hands on and engaging activities to help explore the content being delivered in a deeper and more thorough way.            
The workshop format is designed specifically for those participants looking to explore topics in a deeper and more engaging way. 

Q-Talks

These TED-style talks explore the impact that artificial intelligence, robotics, and other technological advances will have on organizations as well as the future of quality and the quality professional.
The Q-Talks are intended for all conference attendees who are looking to grow awareness, understanding, and perspective on disruptive technologies.

Quality Conversations

These focusedone-on-one discussions between an ASQ editor and a quality thought leader explore various aspects of Quality 4.0 such as strategy alignment, digitization, technology and culture. The conversations are presented in interview format offering an opportunity to dig into concepts covered in recent issues of Quality Progress. Audience interaction is encouraged. 

Guided Collaboration Session 

Quality 4.0 @ Work
Whether you’re just getting started on the journey toward implementing Quality 4.0 or have already begun, join this facilitated, roundtable session. Self-select your topic of greatest interest, including: skills needed for success, overcoming obstacles, and Quality 4.0 considerations specific to the service sector. Learn from and leverage the wisdom of peers facing similar challenges and opportunities within the Quality 4.0 space.

Session Levels

Basic

Provides an introduction to a subject, including practical and user-friendly definitions of terms. The primary focus is to bring an individual who may not be familiar with the area to a level of knowledge that facilitates further learning.

Intermediate

The participant should have some degree of knowledge of the subject. The intent is to build on an individual’s knowledge of the subject to a point of greater understanding.

Advanced

Provides an in-depth and/or up-to-date treatment of a subject. A strong theoretical background and a working knowledge of a subject are expected of those that attend.
