All conference attendees are invited to a networking reception where a variety of complimentary beverages and snacks will be available. This social event provides the chance to meet and mingle with other conference attendees in a casual, relaxed setting. It is also an ideal opportunity to meet many of the conference presenters and Inspection Division Leadership Team.
Attendees of the 2019 Inspection Division conference will have the option of attending any or all of the tours listed below. Free round trip transportation from the Crowne Plaza Hotel will be provide for each tour.

3 Space began in 2013 as an industrial 3D printing service bureau. They have since expanded their capabilities to include 3D scanning, design engineering and manufacturing. They also offer quality inspection services including scan-to-CAD analysis and dimensional inspection. 3 Space customers come from a variety of industries, including automotive, robotics, medical and consumer goods.

Take a guided tour through the factory where the famous Louisville Slugger bats are crafted with the same pride that started in 1884. Watch the wood chips fly as you walk right through the heart of their production line. Along the way, you'll encounter each step in the bat-making process. You’ll smell the wood, see the sizzling brand, hear great stories, and witness history-in-the-making. After the tour, everyone will receive a FREE miniature Louisville Slugger souvenir bat!

Papa John’s Pizza - Quality Assurance and Research and Development LaboratoriesNo fee
A guided tour of Papa John’s world headquarters will feature a visit to their Quality Assurance and Research and Development Laboratories. Guests will see and speak with the teams that work diligently to maintain their “Better Ingredients, Better Pizza” promise for Papa John’s customers. This tour will also feature a walk-through of one of the eleven dough manufacturing facilities within the United States. The campus tour will conclude with a brief visit to their “Piazza” where guests will be able to sample Papa John’s amazing pizza!

Old Forrester Bourbon DistilleryTaste your way through history on this unique Old Forester tour experience. Learn about the Brown family, the Old Forester brand and their impact on the bourbon industry as you sample the entire Whiskey Row series; each expression representing a key date in Old Forester history. Guided tasting stations positioned along the tour path will showcase the Old Forester 1870 Original Batch, 1897 Bottled in Bond, 1910 Old Fine Whisky and 1920 Prohibition Style. During this open house style tour, interact and ask questions of knowledgeable guides while you experience fermentation, distillation, barrel making, maturation and bottling at your own pace.
Evan Williams Speakeasy (private tour & tasting)The Speakeasy Tasting Experience transports you back in time to the 1930’s to celebrate the last days of Prohibition in Louisville. If you guess the secret entry password correctly, you’ll gain access to our very own Speakeasy. Once inside, you’ll learn about Prohibition and the city’s rich Bourbon heritage, while tasting four Whiskeys from the Heaven Hill portfolio. All attendees will also take home a commemorative glass!
