ASQ Certified Medical Device Auditor (CMDA) Certification Prep

This Certified Medical Device Auditor (CMDA) refresher training is a 24-contact hour review delivered over three days. It is designed and taught to help experienced auditors prepare for the CMDA exam. It is intended to help the learner become thoroughly familiar with the complete Body of Knowledge (BoK) by understanding the content covered by the four main domains in the ASQ CMDA BoK.

Who Should Certify?
The Certified Medical Device Auditor is a professional who understands the principles of standards, regulations, directives, and guidance for auditing a medical device system while using various tools and techniques to examine, question, evaluate, and report on that system's adequacies and deficiencies.
A medical device auditor analyzes all elements of the system and reports on how well it adheres to the criteria for management and control of process safety.

Become familiar with questions similar to those on the ASQ CDMA exam.

Prerequisites
This review course is intended to prepare for the ASQ CMDA certification exam. Attendees should have previous learning and/or experience in the topics.

Cybersecurity: ISO/IEC 27001:2013

ISO/IEC 27001 is designed to help keep your organization's data secure and minimize risk.  This class will give trainees a general understanding of the concepts of the ISO 27001:2013 standard and how the requirements impact the day-to-day operations of organizations in any industry. The course will explain the clauses in detail, teach the Information Security Principles of the standard. Students learn by participating in group exercises, case studies, and in-depth discussions.

Materials Included
We will make reasonable efforts to have loaner copies available for use during the class, but students are encouraged to have their own copy. There is an exam at the end of session 2. A Certificate of Completion at the end of the competency unit will be provided for students who are deemed "Competent." Students will be given the opportunity to retake the test(s).

NOTE: Copies of the standards are not included in the class fee.

Prerequisites
Participants will need to review the ISO 27001:2013 standard and keep it readily available for quick reference during the presentations.
