After you register, you can create your own conference schedule to customize your conference experience.

  • View sessions
  • Add sessions to individualized itinerary
  • Download your itinerary to your desktop calendar
  • Save as a PDF, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Word Document
  • Print a hard copy of your schedule
  • Add personal networking appointments to “My Schedule”
  • Save “My Schedule” by creating a profile in the online program schedule

Conference Presentations and Recordings

Conference Presentations
Approximately two weeks prior to the conference, all registered attendees will receive access to the PowerPoint presentations for the sessions of the World Conference on Quality and Improvement.

Conference Recordings
Because you are an attendee of the 2016 World Conference on Quality and Improvement, the more than 100 conference session recordings are available to you for only $49 … that’s a 90 percent savings! See sessions you missed, review sessions you attended, and share sessions with your colleagues once you return to work.

If you did not purchase the conference recordings when you registered, simply call ASQ Customer Care at 800-248-1946 and inform the representative that you are registered for the 2016 World Conference and would like to add the conference recordings.

Note: Recordings will be available within 30 days after the conference. You will receive an email when recordings are available with instructions on how to access them.

Special Needs

Do you have any special needs, disabilities, and/or dietary restrictions that we may address to make your participation more enjoyable? Please contact Customer Care so we can add this information to your registration record.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

We understand that things happen that prevent you from attending a conference after you have registered. If you find that you cannot attend the 2016 World Conference on Quality and Improvement, there are options for you to choose from.

  • Substitute - Substitutions can be made at any time, even onsite.
  • Transfer - Transfer your conference fee to another conference of your choice.
  • Cancel - Cancellations can be made prior to the start of the conference. Requests for cancellations and conference fee transfers received on or before April 25, 2016 will incur a $200 processing fee. No requests for refunds will be accepted after April 25, 2016.

Recertification

Reminder to ASQ Certified Engineers, Auditors, Reliability Engineers, Software Engineers, Six Sigma Black Belts, Master Black Belts, Calibration Technicians, HACCP Auditors, Biomedical Auditors, Managers, Pharmaceutical GMP Professionals, and ASQ/DON Lean Six Sigma Black Belts: Full participation in the World Conference can earn you three recertification units (RUs) toward maintenance of your certification requirements (one RU per day). Keep your identification badge as evidence for your Section Examining Committee and the ASQ Certification Committee.

Sunday May 15

ASQ Annual Business Meeting
Recognition of the 2016 Medalists and Award Winners
5:00 p.m. − 6:30 p.m.
Get an update on the latest information about the incoming officers and a special presentation on the State of the Society.

Conference Opening Reception
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Visit the exhibit hall to connect with the wide variety of exhibitors, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Monday, May 16

Conference Kickoff With Sponsors and Exhibitors
10:00 a.m. − 11:15 a.m.
Kick off the first official day of the conference by catching up with new or old friends and participate in interactive activities in the ASQ Center and with exhibitors.

Milwaukee Night Out
6:30 p.m. − 10:30 p.m.
(Shuttle Transportation Ends at 10:30 p.m.) 
This is your chance to get out and see the most popular areas in downtown Milwaukee with your fellow conference attendees. Have dinner with new friends you met during the first day of the conference, or catch up with old buddies from the past.
ASQ will be providing shuttle transportation between the Wisconsin Center, the Third Ward, Water Street (Water St. and E. Juneau Ave.), and Old World Third Street (Wisconsin Cheese Mart) (Water St. and Buffalo St.) in downtown Milwaukee. As a conference attendee, you will get exclusive discounts at some of Milwaukee’s best restaurants and bars throughout each drop-off location. Grab a group of friends and enjoy your Milwaukee Night Out!

Tuesday, May 17

Exhibit Hall Extravaganza
2:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Come visit the exhibit hall one last time and enjoy fun games, prize drawings, and relax with other conference attendees. 

Networking Reception
7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

This great networking opportunity features appetizers, a cash bar, and live entertainment for you to enjoy with your fellow attendees. You will also have a special opportunity to roll through one of the most popular attractions in Milwaukee—the Harley-Davidson Museum®.

As a conference attendee you will have access to the museum from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Take this time to get up close to more than 450 motorcycles and artifacts including the oldest known Harley-Davidson®motorcycle. See some of the most unique customized bikes, visit the Design Lab, and hop on a bike at the interactive Experience Gallery. Each full conference registration includes one ticket to the reception. It is the intent of the ASQ leadership that every ASQ conference and sponsored event be a safe haven for professional development, training, formal and informal learning, and fellowship.  ASQ members and non-members alike deserve a safe and pleasant experience.  Harassment, to include sexual harassment of any description, is a violation of our Code of Ethics, and will not be tolerated.  An ASQ or third-party official will promptly investigate every allegation of harassment, and the results communicated to appropriate authorities and the complainant.
