Consultant Q&A

Question:

I am a first level supervisor. I work for a company that says it wants high quality and high performance. Many, including myself, would like to make changes in how we do things to improve our performance. However, the company’s managers are very controlling and bureaucratic. I believe a focus on quality and teamwork – employee participation – can get us moving. How can I encourage those types of changes and be hopeful the managers may listen?
