Consultant Q&A

Question:

Public schools are more accountable than ever to be sure that students are learning. In Kansas, schools are accredited based on a school improvement plan that shows growth by looking at three pieces of assessment data. Curriculum is aligned with state standards and state assessment. With so many mandates put on public education and the individual teacher, how do we encourage teachers to be creative within the guidelines of accountability?
