I am responsible for developing a Succession Plan process for our factory including the plant manager and his direct reports. I am gathering information from a variety of resources, but have been unable to obtain an outline or step-by-step plan to aid me in developing this process. Can you help me understand what needs to be done and the steps to follow? The plant managers direct reports include: plant controller, supply chain manager, four manufacturing managers, personnel manager, quality assurance manager and a maintenance/engineering manager.
