ASA’s Committee on Professional Ethics: A brief note

Abstract: The American Statistical Association (ASA) Committee on Professional Ethics is involved in education and outreach pertaining to ethical issues in statistical practice. The Committee provides a set of Ethical Guidelines regarding professionalism and a statistician’s responsibilities. This article also describes the history of ASA’s ethics guidelines for statisticians.
