‘Stop Light’ Control Paper Appearing in Winter 1984 Newsletter
Abstract: Stop light control is a pre-control technique that allows detecting changes (special causes) in the process. The process is assumed to be in statistical control, the performance measure has a normal distribution, and the process capability is between 50% and 80% of the tolerance limits.
