Left Brained and Right Out of Touch – Mini Paper Appearing in Fall 1998 Newsletter

Abstract: Consumers of statistical services expect statisticians to be helpful. Many technical workers focus on the analytical aspects of a problem but fail to recommend and drive changes. Most engineers and scientists are uncomfortable with the psychological aspects of change management. This paper presents some thoughts to help technical workers overcome their personal uneasiness to dealing with human behavior.
