Reliability Statistics – An Introduction – Mini Paper Taken from the Summer 1993 Newsletter

Abstract: Reliability statistics is one of the bodies of knowledge in the field of reliability. Statistics are utilized to both predict the survivability of units in the design stage as well as analyze the performance of units on test or in the field. This paper defines the basic terminology of reliability and gives an introduction to series and parallel system structures.
