CHAIR’S MESSAGE

A Message From the Chair
I am amazed at the speed at which our industry continues to change and grow. At times it is overwhelming as I try to read and stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, models, standards, etc. I think the top benefit of being a member of the ASQ Software Division is the access to other members to find information and get help. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our members provide a great resource because I know someone in our ranks knows the answer to my questions. I urge each of you to remain members of the Software Division as well as ask your colleagues to join.

We are also always looking for new volunteers who want to become involved in the activities of the Software Division. Please let us know if you are interested in helping as well as your areas of interest and expertise. Many thanks to those who have volunteered in the past because without them we would have no Software Division. The efforts are especially appreciated as I know the effort has been in addition to your already busy regular job schedule and demands.

Doug Hamilton, Chair
