Six Sigma Forum Magazine vol. 6 issue 4 - August 2007

Abstract: ´╗┐Good business process improvement portfolio management is critical to ensure that projects are effectively aligned to the strategic objectives of the organization. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) creates a structured baseline for continuously improving decision making processes which results in higher levels of efficiency and effectiveness. The method is especially valuable in Six Sigma, lean Six Sigma, and other business process improvement prioritization decisions involving strategic considerations.
