Hotel, Cancellation, and Payment Information

Attendees are required to make and finance all travel and hotel expenses.

Hotel Reservations

The Six Sigma Program will be held at various hotels listed on the individual program schedules. Identify yourself as an ASQ Six Sigma Program participant to receive the special group rate. You will need to guarantee your room reservation for late arrival with a credit card.

Green Belt candidates should make reservations for both weeks of sessions at the same time to ensure availability. If your plans change, call and amend them with 48-hour notice.

Black Belt and Green Belt sessions begin Monday at 8:00 a.m. and end Friday at 12:00 p.m. It is strongly suggested that all participants stay at the host hotel, as there may be evening group exercises, study sessions, and class assignments.

If you have questions about the Six Sigma Program itself, please do not call the hotel, call ASQ at 800-248-1946 (United States and Canada only).

Special needs

Do you have any special needs or dietary restrictions that we can address to make your participation more enjoyable? Please call, write or fax ASQ’s Education Services Department at P.O. Box 3005, Milwaukee, WI 53201-3005; phone 800-248-1946 (United States and Canada only) or fax 414-272-1734.

Cancellation/Substitution/Transfer Policy

Registration for Six Sigma Green Belt Training closes one week prior to the start of the first session. Substitutions are allowed until one week before the first session of each Wave. Cancellations are allowed until the end of business day on the Thursday prior to the start of the wave. A $1,000.00 processing fee will be assigned per cancellation. The return of course materials (books, curriculum, and software) unopened and in excellent condition will result in a lower cancellation fee. Please refer to the specific Six Sigma training brochure for more information. Registrants who fail to attend are liable for the entire course fee.

A transfer from one wave to another can be made at any time prior to the start of the first session of each wave (a maximum of one transfer is allowed per session). Additional transfers made after the first one will be subject to the cancellation fee. Registrants who fail to attend are liable for the entire program fee.

Six Sigma Programs are subject to cancellation if too few people enroll.  If a program is cancelled, registrants will receive a full refund after pre-work materials have been returned to ASQ in resellable condition. ASQ reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and to change instructors. Please be advised that ASQ is not responsible for any airfare penalties or other travel charges you may incur.

Payment Information

All registrations must be accompanied by payment in full (U.S. currency only). Purchase orders will be accepted but must be sent along with the completed registration form. All checks should be made payable to ASQ. Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation letter and orientation package.

The investment for the Six Sigma Green Belt Program includes two weeks (10 classroom days), instructional materials, and reference texts. Registration fees also include continental breakfast and lunch at each session. Participants will need a laptop computer with them during training.
