To assist service quality professionals in determining the competencies they should master, the SQBOK team has evaluated the topics in the SQBOK framework for more than 45 service quality roles. Topics are identified as requiring awareness-level, working, or expert knowledge.

In developing the SQBOK structure, the team conducted crosswalks to other defined bodies of knowledge (BOK), such as ASQ certification BOK. Crosswalks will be shared through this site soon, along with other SQBOK development materials.
