Happy March Madness Quality people,

Hopefully you are not experiencing much madness in your quality profession this month, at least no more than the ?normal? madness.

Well we have a Toofer for the March meeting. That means two speakers for the price of one plus a great meal! The two topics will be AS9100 and TS16949. One spec probably more familiar to you than the other, but both should be interesting and educational. Randy Stroemer, our Re-cert chair and a familiar presenter to our Mansfield section will be discussing the newly revised Aerospace AS9100 . And Sharon Strouth, from Stoneridge-Hi-Stat, will be discussing the more familiar TS16949. Please call Caryn by THIS TUESDAY with your reservation and choice of main entr?

For any of you interested in looking at new employment opportunities, there are a few additions below in section 7.

And as before, if you become aware of any other local quality job openings or know of any email address changes for you or any other Mansfield Section 811 members, please shoot me an email.

See you at the March meeting !

Joe Hildebrand

2.) Greetings from the Chair :

Welcome fellow Quality associates! February?s tour of the Mansfield Police Department Forensic Science Laboratory was absolutely fabulous! Mr. Anthony (Tony) Tambasco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminalistics from the State University College of New York at Buffalo and has worked in the forensic science field for over 28 years.

The Laboratory has maintained national accreditation from the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB). This accreditation includes the disciplines of Biology, Controlled Substances, Latent Prints and Firearms (operability). He was very exciting to listen to and the work performed there is astonishing! I?m sorry for anyone who missed this tour!

This month should be very informative with the presentations from the aerospace industry AS9100 system by Randy Stroemer and the infamous TS16949 system by Sharon Strouth for all of you automotive buffs to actually get to know the differences and similarities between these two systems.

Please get your reservations to Caryn Simmons for yet another fine meal to be served at the K of C Hall by Ingrid and excellent fellowship with ALL!

I look forward to seeing everyone there and please bring a fellow Quality associate as our membership needs to continue to grow!

Thank You,
