See the attached pdf file. For anyone who can not open the attached pdf file, the workshop covers Advanced SPC ( Statistical Process Control ). As the workshop flyer mentions, Advanced means ?better? not harder or more complex. The workshop is at the Mansfield Knights of Columbus, on Park Ave. West. So bring your favorite calculator and come on out THIS Saturday to get some worthwhile training and half an ru. Cost is $80, but includes the book.

2.) Greetings from the Chair :

Welcome fellow Quality associates,

The upcoming November ASQ meeting (Thursday the 11th) will have the opportunity for Homer Bloodhart to present the Voice of the Customer. This should be a very interesting topic! Come and enjoy the presentation! Homer has also extended an invitation to the Richland Manufacturing Coalition Group to attend our November meeting.

Another SOONER upcoming event will be the Education Day scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 6th, 2010 to be presented by Bob Doering on Statistical Process Control(SPC). Items discussed will be advanced SPC for precision machining and advanced SPC for short runs. Just when you thought you have heard everything about statistical process control??there is more!

I have generated a flyer to promote this upcoming event for the Education Day and hopefully everyone has a chance to post this information and we?re getting an excellent response for attendance!

We finalized our meeting topics/locations for the rest of the year at our October meeting. The only item left to finalize is the play selections available after our December networking evening of the 11th.

Please come join us all for a very enjoyable ASQ meeting this month and the months to come! I have invited the SME group that has shown interest in joining us for an evening of fellowship and fine food.
