American Society for Quality

Mansfield Section 0811

Hello again,

Well, our school year is almost over. Only one more meeting. But some would say we have saved the best for last. Our very own Donna Parsons will be discussing 5S!

For the May meeting, we will also have another book Give-Away for two lucky attendees.

So if you can use some rus, our meetings are an inexpensive and great way to earn rus, get some fine food(especially this month!), and get involved in some good quality discussions with your quality colleagues. Come on out and see if Donna has any clean jokes to tell about 5S.

Best regards and enjoy that warm sunshine!

Joe Hildebrand

2.) Chairman's Corner :

The May meeting will be the "5S" presentation by Donna Parsons.
I've been looking forward to this presentation for several reasons. The most important reason is that I'm always interested in how a company goes about implementing these steps, of lean. Hope that everyone turns out for this presentation on Lean implementation.

The May meeting will be my last as the Chairperson, of this section. I would like to thank the officer's, chair's, and the entire membership for there kind participation in our monthly meetings. These meetings help us do our daily work. Although I still have June left as chairperson, I am letting the new chairperson start the season's planning on the subjects to be presented and who the guest speakers will be presenting these subjects. Between now and the June meeting, anyone wanting a particular subject can e-mail the topic to me and I'll get it before the board of directors at the June meeting.

Again thank you for a successful year and your participation

Yours in quality,
Homer Blood hart.
