American Society for Quality

Mansfield Section 0811

Hello again,

Well, March is over, even though March Madness is not. Bring all the sun in! Spring is here, Get that lawn mower out! But dont mow your lawn next Thursday night. Come to our April meeting as we discuss the One Minute Manager concept led by Jeff Massoni. See details below.

For the April meeting, we will also have another book Give-Away for two lucky attendees.

There are a couple newer Ohio Quality positions below as well.

Only a couple more ASQ meetings left this school year. So if you can use some rus, our meetings are an inexpensive and great way to earn rus, get some fine food, and get involved in some good quality discussions with your quality colleagues.

Best regards and enjoy that warm sunshine!

2.) Chairman's Corner :

Here it is almost April and the meeting year is almost over. We've had some real good meetings and tours this past year, and a lot of good fellowship. For the April meeting, we'll be back at the K of C Hall for another fine meal. I'm asking Jeff Massoni to be our guest speaker, again. I've heard from Hameem and he won't be able to make it that evening. He's accepted a job in Columbus and it transferring his membership down to the Columbus branch. Let's wish him a lot of luck. Last meeting we had one nomination for the position of chairperson. That nomination was for Kenny Paugh. During our April meeting we'll have our annual elections, as the report has to be at ASQ by mid-May. I am hoping for a large turn out at the April meeting. We'll be giving away two books again. Their titles are: "Orchestrating Learning with Quality" and "Incredibly American: Releasing the Heart of Quality." We'll also be having a raffle after the meeting. I'll explain the reason why at the meeting. Please start thinking about meeting topics that you'd like for next year. See you there."

Yours in quality,
Homer Blood hart.
