Latham Pool Products is the leading manufacturer of in-ground residential swimming pools and components in North America. We currently have an opening in our Scotia, New York plant for a hands-on Quality Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured product conforms to the attributes of the process notes, engineer drawings and product specifications, plus: Manage Quality Inspectors on each shift and ensure all departmental functions are performed accurately, efficiently and economically.

Coordinate with all functional departments in achieving plant-wide quality goals working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals are met. Detailed Responsibilities Include:
Produce and submit daily, weekly and monthly Quality reports.
Conduct a monthly Quality meeting with all shifts.
Ensure daily audits and shift audits are conducted as prescribed.
Liaison with all departments relating to returns and customer complaints.
Work with all departments in the formulation of written procedures.
continuously review the Quality Inspection process and submit suggestions to the Corporate Director of Quality.
Ensure the following are conducted in an accurate and timely manner: 1) incoming audits, 2) RMAs processed in 24 hours or less, 3) defective material returns, 4) material evaluations (MERF
Work in conjunction with the Corporate Director of Quality regarding Quality Inspector staffing
Identify problems, initiate corrective actions and follow up to completion.
Plan, control, supervise and ensure proper training and staffing of Quality Team on all shifts
Maintain a good working knowledge of all departments and processes, and be involved with the plants Continuous Improvement teams.
Model our professional standards including a professional approach and appearance; maintaining excellent attendance; and being flexible to work split shifts on occasion.
Observe all company safety rules.
