Topic: Why Lean and 6-Sigma is Not Enough - Conquering Complexity is Key for a Successful Lean Transformation
Speaker: Fred Shamburg
Fred Shamburg, the founder and President of Leanovations, LLC was introduced to lean by one of the originators of the Toyota Production System, and very quickly developed a passion for teaching and applying lean principles to the total business enterprise.
Fred has held executive and senior level positions in manufacturing, operations, and engineering, with large international corporations. Fred was selected by the National Shingo Board of Governors as a National Shingo Prize Examiner. Freds background and experiences includes:
Over 20 years experience in Lean and Operational excellence with extensive international experience in Europe, Asia, Mexico and all regions of the USA
Leadership and executive level positions, such as; Director of Manufacturing, Lean Executive, Operations Manager, Industrial Engineering Manager and part time University Instructor
Graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with a MS in Operations Management and holds a BS in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University (SIU)
