Speaker: Steve Dombrowski
Steve Dombrowski is an Operations Manager in Executive Administration for the State of Connecticut, Department of Labor. He has been with the agency for the past eighteen years. Steve coordinates Lean Government training, cost reduction and waste eradication analysis, process improvements and Labor Market presentations for the agency. In addition to Lean, Steve is responsible for statewide inter-agency employment & training initiatives; grant writing support; and development.
After graduating UConn with a Bachelor?s degree in Statistical Sociology, Steve worked for the Hartford Insurance Group as well as Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith in the realm of financial services and portfolio securities research. In 2001, he earned his Masters degree in Human Resource Development from American International College in Springfield, MA. Steve resides in Bloomfield and keeps busy volunteering with local community service organizations.
