Popular searches on the Internet includeGoogle after news the company will cut 1,200 additional jobs at Motorola Mobility. The cuts are expected to take place in the United States, China and India. The move is a continuation of the reductions the company announced last summer. Four thousand jobs were cut at Motorola Mobility last August.
The Wall Street Journal published an email that was sent to Motorola staff notifying them of the cuts. The email from management said, "Our costs are too high, we're operating in markets where we're not competitive and we're losing money."
Google purchased Motorola for $12.5 billion last year. It was its largest acquisition to date.
