Fractional Box-Behnken Designs for One-Step Response Surface Methodology

Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Literature has proposed a form of response surface methodology (RSM) known as one-step RSM, which integrates screening and response surface exploration in a single three-level design. A class of three-level response surface designs are developed from Box-Behnken designs that address the shortcomings of existing one-step RSM designs and analysis. The designs and analysis are illustrated with both simulated and real data.
