Abstract:Complex problems and solutions can be difficult to communicate to an audience without the audience losing focus or getting bored. Using visual models, however, will help to keep others engaged and help them to better understand the problem and solution. These visual models can be drawn out anytime and anywhere with even the most simple tools, such as a pencil and paper. Simple shapes like triangles, circles, diamonds and chevrons can be used to convey strategies and show steps in a process.
