Abstract:Process improvement initiatives can face many challenges in an organization, either before a process improvement projects begins or during a project. These challenges can be diverse and difficult to see or solve without the right quality tools. Seven challenges to look out for are: a weak or non-existent project scope, poor project leadership, management fluctuations, employee turnover, third party involvement, financial burdens and an organization's focus on other priorities.
