Abstract:The success of a lean Six Sigma project often leans on the effectiveness of the project leader, especially when it comes to motivating and engaging project team members. Certain personality traits have shown to prove most effective in leaders, such as communication skills and innovative thinking. In a recent study, potential team leaders were asked to self-evaluate their personality traits with two major categories in mind: communication apprehension (CA) and innovativeness.
