Salary Survey 2016: Follow the Signs

Abstract:Year's end is a good time to assess one's career progress and direction. The 30th QP Salary Survey provides useful data to examine the profession and establish personal goals. The survey, which averages a variety of job titles in the U.S. and Canada, shows modest and fluctuating salary growth. For 2016 the average salary was $91,659, a 0.86% increase over 2015. ASQ certifications correlate with hiring potential and higher pay, in addition to education, experience and management responsibility. Surveys over the years reveal different facts with deeper analyses.
