Abstract:Several college students and their professor got together to use Six Sigma DMAIC methods in order to think of ways to improve graduation rates at their college. The U.S. Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics reporting just 59% of students in 2011 were able to obtain a degree within six years. The students focused on academic advising positions, as those were the most helpful to students in all fields.
