Abstract:ISO 26000, released in November 2010, is a guidance standard for organizational social responsibility (SR) issues. ISO 26000 may be the first systemic approach to SR. It delineates core subjects in SR and relates them to quality issues. I am keen to implement SR polices and framework at a place like UAE, where the majority of employees is labor. There should be a standard to benchmark best practices in labor policies and dealings. Hope the assessment will develop a caring organization.
