Making the Connection

Abstract:The predecessor-successor relationship that exists between tools used for continuous improvement is referred to as connectivity. When each individual tool in this connectivity chain completes its task, results are turned over to the next tool in the sequence to achieve the ultimate goal, which is the identification and selection of the optimal method to smoothly function with the remainder of the unit. Connectivity exists among TRIZ, voice of the customer, quality function deployment, and other tools used for general improvement processes.
