Software Monitors Leak Testing Applications
InterTech Development Co. has introduced its S3085 real-time monitoring software for optimizing test times and isolating problems in leak testing applications. InterTech’s S3085 provides users with the means to show real-time traces of how their test instrumentation transducers perform vs. actual cycle times.
Features include data transfers between PCs and test instrumentation displaying records for up to eight InterTech M-10x5 test instruments while automatically calculating repeatability and reliability percentages based on the number of trials performed. Data can be saved in MS Excel for further statistical process control analysis.

Vibration Control Mounts Can Be Customized
Kinetic Systems offers the capability to customize its Vibration Control Mounts for applications in which isolation from ambient vibration is needed. The mounts are available in a variety of sizes and configurations with load capacities ranging from 200 to 20,000 lbs. per mount.
Kinetic Systems’ engineers assist with design and installation of the mounts. The mounts can be ordered with Kinematic pistons or two-stage pendulum airmount systems. Other options include damping tanks, portable air compressors and epoxy powder coat finishes for class 10 cleanroom compatibility. Inertia masses or bases also are available.

SigmaSure Helps Companies Learn About Returns
SigmaQuest’s SigmaSure RMA Insight is web based software enabling original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to gain knowledge of products returned by end users. The software aggregates data from various return material authorization (RMA) databases so users can learn the root causes of product defects. They also can gain statistical knowledge about product performance trends.

GAGEpack EZ Manages Histories of Devices
The GAGEpack EZ from PQ Systems helps users manage a complete history of measurement devices, instruments and gages. This gage calibration software generates calibration schedules and alerts users to failed and past due calibrations. It tracks location and status, maintains repair records and provides an audit trail for traceability.
The software includes many reports and charts required by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) for detecting types of measurement systems variation. GAGEpack EZ follows the AIAG recommendations to help organizations conform to ISO/TS 16949, and other calibration standards.

PDMWorks Enterprise Can Unite Team Members
SolidWorks has released PDMWorks Enterprise, a product data management software package allowing large or geographically dispersed design teams to work concurrently on product designs. PDMWorks helps engineers and product managers work in teams while automating workflow.
PDMWorks software features include multisite access to secure data design and automated revision control. The software allows engineers to enter already designed parts or assemblies into other product designs. Team members also are notified of design changes to ensure the project follows the specified approval process.

Delcam Introduces Three PowerINSPECT Versions
Delcam International has introduced three versions of its PowerINSPECT inspection software. PowerINSPECT is used for inspection of prototypes, components and tooling against CAD data.
The main PowerINSPECT program incorporates collision detection used for gouge prevention. The two other versions have an entry level on-machine verification option for use by machine tool operators. For metrology departments an offline manual version of the program develops inspection sequences for application using a play-only version on the shop floor.
