Building Quality Communities

Journal for Quality and Participation vol. 40 issue 4 - January 2018

Abstract: Community is about people coming together to support each other and improve the everyone's quality of life. Great communities must be built and nurtured, and they require that people buy in and support the growth and sustainability of their community. When considering how to create growth and public interest, focus on a few smaller projects at a time, rather than trying to tackle all of a community's problems at once. Public surveys and town hall meetings are also a great way to invite people to share their opinions and give them a reason to care about improving their community.
