Abstract: [This abstract is based on the author’s abstract.] Although corporate social responsibility has been a strategy generally applied to large firms, recent changes in quality award structuring focus on promoting the concept among small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The extent to which the European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model supports SMEs in fulfilling their social responsibilities is investigated. Examples are given from two quality award finalists in Turkey.
