Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Methods are proposed for evaluating the effectiveness of a quality sorting station, taking into account the availability of prior information. It is demonstrated that the loss function selection leads to previously know methods as well as some that are new. The use of two repeated sorting methods are compared to the use of one rater. A case study illustrates that methods that consider real losses provide better results and support the optimal classification method.
