Update on the status of the Quality in Athletics Interest Group
As you may know, ASQ has been working with the Quality in Athletics Interest Group for the past 5 years to transition the Interest Group into a full division of ASQ. Despite multiple attempts to establish a continuous leadership core for the group and grow its membership, there was insufficient participation to sustain this Interest Group. Consequently, the ASQ Board of Directors voted on August 10, 2016 to dissolve the Quality in Athletics Interest Group.
ASQ has twenty-five divisions and forums serving a range of industry sectors and topics such as Lean Enterprise, Innovation, and Six Sigma. Participation in these divisions and forums provide opportunities for involvement in divisional and regional leadership, education, and networking. I invite you to learn more about all of ASQ's divisions and forums
Thank you for your participation in the Quality in Athletics Interest Group. Please contact ASQ Community Development at 800-248-1946 or email@example.com to answer any questions about this change. I hope you continue your involvement with ASQ, and share your knowledge and experience of this field through other ASQ communities.
