Article Abstract

This paper describes a set of general purpose statistical analysis programs accessed by users of various locations by means of a remote terminal network. The principal objectives which must be satisfied in preparing and documenting computer programs for use by a mass audience are discussed. Techniques used in promoting the use of the library and encouraging new users are described. Comments from readers possessing experience with similar systems are solicited.
