Article Abstract

The problems encountered in relating fiber properties and processing variables to spinning efficiency are presented, including a discussion of bases for measuring spinning efficiency. Also, two new abbreviated methods for measuring the effect of fiber properties and processing variables on spinning performance are discussed.
