Article Abstract

This article seeks to explain the basic method of solving normal equations by using the principle of symmetry, as considered by Prescott D. Crout in 1941. Worksheets for solving systems of equations having three, four, and five unknowns, have been designed in particular for rapid computation with a simple office calculator.
