Article Abstract

The EFQM Excellence model has nine criteria that are defined as "enablers" or "results". Enablers describe organizational actors and their behaviors, while results describes the desired organizational outcomes. A component of the EFQM model, radar logic, incorporates both a structured and holistic approach to integrate risk management into an organization's quality management system. An understanding of the causality between enablers and results is crucial for effective management of risk.
