Article Abstract

A good Software Quality Assurance (SQA) manager will know exactly how many bugs have been found, just a few will have an estimate of how many are left. Most of those managers will have faced the questions "When will you be done?" and "When do we ship?" at least once. The topic of this paper is the development and application of a software bug forecasting model that will help answer those and other questions.
