Article Abstract

The need to have easy retrieval of technical information available worldwide cannot be overemphasized. This need exists also for Quality Sciences. If you are for instance a nuclear or petroleum specialist, services available respectively from IAEA and API/University of Tulsa make your search for literature very easy. On the other hand, Quality Engineers must go through an extensive search to find any needed technical information on a specific subject. The proposed International Quality Information System would collect papers, articles, standards, etc. Published in proceedings, magazines and/or by technical institutions, thus providing, through keywords listed in a thesaurus, excess to Quality literature.
