Article Abstract

The Kodak Quality Package (KQP) is an interactive, menu-driven package which allows users to perform various statistical process control techniques. KQP is actually a SAS(R) (1) based system that uses full-screen input. Users simply need to know how to log on to the computer system to access this package.This paper covers the evolution of this package:- The need for a statistical process control package,- Mainframe versus PC considerations,- Techniques initially developed,- User feedback to the package, and- Future additions to the package.
