Article Abstract

The American Society for Quality is recognized today as the worldwide leader in the development and dissemination of concepts and tools that enable organizations to achieve superior performance. An overview is provided of these efforts, including customer satisfaction research, sponsorship of the Transformations to Quality Organizations research programs and Research Fellowship Grant Program projects, and "The Stuff Americans Are Made Of" research project.
